New publications from former BFJ contributors Celeste Mohammed, Bradley Bazzle, and more!

Beloit Fiction Journal contributor Celeste Mohammed has a new novel-in-stories to be released this spring. The title of her new publication is Pleasantview and it contains the story “The Dragon’s Mouth (Bocas del Dragón),” which was published last year in the BFJ. 

Author Bradley Bazzle’s first story collection, Fathers of Cambodian Time-Travel Science, was published in October 2020 and won the C&R Press Fiction Award. The collection features two stories that first appeared in the BFJ.

Nickalus Rupert, whose story “Humiliation Machines” was published in last year’s edition of the BFJ, published his first short story collection, Bosses of Light and Sound this January.

Jeremy Griffin’s short story collection, Oceanography, was published in September of 2019 and won the 2018 Orison Fiction Prize. Griffin’s story “Crimes Like These” was published in last year’s edition of the BFJ.
