Philosophy Professor Matt Tedesco
“When I first arrived at Beloit in 2004, I used to struggle to articulate what felt special to me about this place.
“Then I put my finger on it: What has always distinguished Beloit from other schools is the sense of possibility that pervades the place.
“Students see their experience at Beloit—in their classes and beyond—as full of possibility, and that carries into how they imagine their lives after Beloit. When I think about so much that feels just impossible to me today—from the political climate to the actual climate—I am glad for the hope that Beloit, and its students, continue to give me.”
