The Senior Year Work, Work, Work, Work, Workload
Commit to Eight Hours of Sleep
Make a Detailed Calendar
Record the final deadlines for college essays, scholarships, and financial aid applications. Then work backwards, filling in what you need to do each week in order to prepare.
Take a Stretch Break
Relieve muscle tension by gently stretching your neck and shoulders. Hold each stretch for 30 seconds, and don’t forget to breathe.
Dedicate 10 Minutes a Day to Tidying Up
Research shows that clutter decreases productivity. Wash your coffee mugs, throw away old food wrappers, and move the important financial aid paperwork to a safe place.
Protect Your Time
It’s OK to say no to that Zoom call with your friends if you desperately need a power nap.
But Remember to Make Time for Fun
Play video games, go for a walk, FaceTime a friend, or binge The Office for the 900th time. Take breaks and hit reset. You deserve it!
