Making an Entrance

The once uninspiring entrance to Strong Stadium, with its chain link gate and narrow entrance, received a major upgrade over the summer.

The project, spearheaded by the 1889 Council (alumni and friends who support Beloit College Athletics), widened the entryway and road into the stadium complex, added lighted brick pillars, bold signage, a side entrance, and a new eight-foot-tall aluminum gate.
