Typical job responsibilities: Tracking jobs, keeping contractors on task, communicating with clients, and processing invoices.
Typical challenges of the work: Meeting big state deadlines a few times a year, communicating with clients, and learning complicated program guidelines.
Education level: Bachelor’s degree.
Advice for current Beloit College students: Be direct with hiring managers. Instead of saying, “I am just writing to follow up on my application,” say “I think I’d be a great fit for this position and I would like the opportunity to discuss the role in person.”
