Typical job responsibilities: Reviewing site plans for development projects, inspecting construction projects, and implementing the water resources program.

Typical challenges of the work: Project management and time management are  essential to getting work done quickly and effectively. Communication is absolutely essential; you need to be able to communicate effectively with people from many different backgrounds.

Education level for an entry-level position: Bachelor’s Degree

Advice for current Beloit College students: Be flexible and network as much as possible. Networking is something that everyone always recommends, but very few people actually enjoy doing it. If you can’t get a job working in your desired field, try to find ways to speak with professionals in the industry and build connections.
