Eight students in the 2019 Beloit Summer Blocks course “Writing on Two Wheels” are combining creative writing with bicycling to explore the community of Beloit and the area beyond it. The pedaling poets are stopping at a variety of field destinations for “plein air” writing exercises. This ride, led by English Professor Chuck Lewis, took them on a 20-mile loop west of town to Beckman Mill.
