Political Activism & Law: An Alumni Perspective

Alec Chiquoine’07 reflected on how he has explored Justice & Rights throughout his life.

On April 10th, 2020, the Career and Community Engagement Center hosted a virtual information session with Alec Chiquoine’07, a Political Science major. Ever since Chiquoine’s graduation from Beloit, he’s had profound experience working in the justice & rights area. He started with the Obama campaign and his early administration, eventually serving as an assistant for Michelle Obama. He also helped with research to support the Prisoner Elimination of Rape Act. 

After law school, he served as a private practice and criminal defense attorney. Currently, he works as a federal prosecutor in Minnesota, prosecuting violent crimes.
