Get a Boost in Resume for Your Next Internship/Job Application
Happened on Tuesday, February 11th, two resume workshops led by the Business and Entrepreneurship Channel had attracted many students to stop by for some general advice and tips. Students participating in these workshops got the chance to have their resumes reviewed and revised by the experienced faculties: Beloit Executive Residence Matt Laszlo, professor Brian Morello, professor Diep Phan and professor Laura Grube.
After sharing some helpful tips on how to create an attractive and effective resume for job applications, students could get their resume checked and edited by the four faculties. Each of them gave their personal thoughts on students’ resumes and helped them to find a way to improve their pieces. This event was organized not only in the interest of preparing students for the Annual ECON Day on February 21st, 2020, but was also opened for anyone who is in need of getting ready for their job or internship application. By receiving advice from the experienced professors, students can work on updating and revising their resume to the best possible conditions.
The events offered students a great opportunity to receive resume advice from three different perspectives, giving them a more general look on their papers. Having a good resume is very much needed in job applications, which is why these workshops were helpful for all current students, especially when it is that time of the year when employers are opened for internship spots again.
