Career and Community Engagement by the Numbers

This fall, Career and Community Engagement Center has been busy helping students connect their experiences to their careers.

In August, Beloit College’s Career and Community Engagement Center launched Handshake, a new computer platform where students can search for jobs and internships, make appointments with our staff, and access our resources. 55% of our students have activated their accounts and 32% of students have made their profile.

From August to December, Career and Community  Engagement has hosted 67 events and our students have been showing up in force! For our top 10 events, 556 students attended. Our most popular event, Alumni Athlete Networking had 93 attendees!

Students have also been making appointments with center staff. In fact, we’ve facilitated 272 conversations with students about their resumes, graduate school applications, and job searches.

Career and Community Engagement Center is proud to support Beloit College students as they build their on-campus and off-campus experiences and launch the next stage of their careers.
