A study abroad experience in Ecuador is now helping Meshach Roberts’19 in his work with Athletico.

Meshach Roberts’19, a student from the Bahamas, came to Beloit with study abroad in mind, as well as a career in physical therapy. Prepared with majors in biology and Spanish, he studied abroad in Ecuador for a semester, where he not only was able to continue to study biology, but achieved sufficient Spanish fluency to use Spanish in a post-graduation optional practical training position.

“Not only did Beloit help me find a post-graduation opportunity at Athletico that matches my interests in Spanish and physical therapy, but it provided me with the tools to be an asset from day one.”
