Alert Level moved to Yellow

The change is based on a significant increase in the seven-day average of new COVID-19 cases in Rock and Winnebago counties.

What a Move to Alert Yellow Means

  • Everyone needs to take increased precautions and continue to follow protective practices.
  • Teaching and learning continue to take place in a hybrid format, with classes in a combination of in-person and online learning. Some faculty are teaching remotely while others are on campus.
  • Students may gather, but only in small numbers and while socially distancing and wearing masks. Student gatherings in dorm rooms are not recommended.
  • Outdoor activities are strongly preferred to indoor activities.
