Mobile Apps and Sites

Many library resources have associated mobile apps or mobile-friendly sites. Below is a list of mobile apps and sites that allow access to library databases, catalogs, and other resources. In addition, the websites for many databases and resources will automatically pair with your mobile device to provide optimal functionality. Be sure to check this list often as new apps and sites are developed frequently!

Mobile Apps

AccessMyLibrary College Edition (Gale databases, including Expanded Academic ASAP and Gale Virtual Reference Library) -- Available for iOS and Android

BioOne -- Create a user account to sync the library's holdings with your phone or tablet. Available for iOS and Android.

EBSCOhost (Academic Search Premier, Source databases, Newspaper Source Plus, etc.) -- At the bottom of the page, click on "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications." Available for iOS and Android.

ebrary -- First download the book from ebrary, then download Bluefire to read. Available for iOS and Android

SpringerLink -- Available for iOS

WorldCat -- Offers a variety of apps for both iOS and Android 

Mobile Sites

Annual Reviews -- Instructions for pairing your mobile device with full-text from Annual Reviews

ARTstor -- Requires existing ARTstor username and password, Safari 5+ or Firefox 5+

Chronicle of Higher Education -- To access full-text content, you must first create an account from a computer connected to the campus network. Then, log in to your Chronicle account when you access the mobile site.
