Campus Community Outreach Center

The Campus and Community Outreach Center, commonly called the CCOC, is Beloit's volunteer center. Housed at the Liberal Arts in Practice Center at 703 Emerson St., the CCOC connects students with one time or ongoing service opportunities which allow them to engage in and acquaint themselves with the greater Beloit community.

Just as importantly, our team's mission is to maintain and build strong, lasting community partnerships in the greater Beloit area. We work with community organizations that are seeking to promote their programs, help to coordinate various student-led volunteer initiatives on and off campus, and recruit and send Beloit College students far and wide to assist in volunteer efforts.

Community partners, we'd love to help you get connected to our students!  Please fill our our volunteer request form and we will follow up with you, or contact us at or 608-363-2665.

Serve to Lead

Ready to serve?  There are countless ways to connect with Beloit and other Stateline area organizations and begin the process of becoming a volunteer. Fill out our Community Service Interest Form in order to let us know what types of opportunities you would be interested in . . . we'll contact you when there is a match!

To connect with on-going volunteer opportunities at any time day or night, search the Beloit Toolbox!  You can also stop in at LAPC or make an appointment to meet with a CCOC coordinator to discuss how to get involved in the right opportunity.

Give Blood

Each academic year the CCOC, the Rock River Valley Blood Center, and Be The Match coordinate four on-campus blood drives and marrow registries.  Each drive engages thirty student volunteers and up to one hundred donors from the Beloit College community!

The 2015-2016 academic year saw record numbers of Beloit College participants--with over 500 lives saved and 200 more individuals who joined the marrow registry!

This year's drives will take place on Sept. 15, 2016;  Nov. 10, 2016;  Feb. 16, 2017;  and April 13 2017 from 12-6 p.m. at Pearson's Hall.

Interested in participating?  Contact the CCOC at to sign up today, or to request more information.

Join an Alternative Break Trip

This fall eight Beloit students have the opportunity to participate in a student-run alternative fall break in Milwaukee, WI.  Between October 8-13 they will live in an intentional community for a week and volunteer at community organizations that are focusing on food justice issues.

Interested in being involved?  Contact the CCOC in order to find out more about this or additional upcoming alternative break trips.
