Library staff are configuring and testing a new tool to facilitate access to electronic journal, database, and ebook services for students, faculty, and staff working and researching from off-campus computers. The EZProxy service will take the place of current instructions to edit browser settings for off-campus, proxy access. While implementation and testing are underway, some on and off-campus users may encounter a new page requesting username and password information. Researchers are most likely to encounter this new authentication page when using the FindIt journal service to connect to full-text information or to request an article from another library. This authentication process is secure, you may safely enter your campus username and password for access to the needed services. As implementation continues, settings will be adjusted to eliminate the authentication page for those connecting from within the campus network; only off-site researchers will be prompted for username and password information.
