Publicly Available Data

There are two main sources of publicly available data about Beloit College and other colleges and universities. These web-based services allow anyone to find information about Beloit College and compare it with information about other colleges, too. The Beloit College IRAP office encourages prospective students and their families, current students, and staff & faculty to use this data to be more informed about Beloit College. 

National Center for Education Statistics IPEDS Data Center

Each year the office of Institutional Research, Assessment, and Planning submits data about Beloit College to the Federal Integrated Post-Secondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The submitted data is about institutional finances, human resources, student financial aid, admissions, enrollment, graduation rates, and awards/degrees conferred. This IPEDS data is available for the public to view.

All IPEDS data is publicly available in at the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) IPEDS Data Center.

College Scorecard

The U.S. Department of Education presents information about Beloit College and most other colleges and universities in the United States on its College Scorecard website. In addition to similar information as available at the IPEDS data center, the College Scorecard has information about students' financial aid, student loan debt, and earnings post-Beloit.
