What do people do after they study geology at Beloit?
The vast majority of our graduates are working in fields related to geoscience and with applications to society as a whole. They work in environmental consulting, museums, the oil industry, the mining industry, K-12 education, environmental education, higher education, and for governmental agencies.
Beloit College geologists are also very successful in graduate programs. Over the last 20 years, around 60% of Geology and Environmental Geology majors have gone on to graduate school.
