Family Discovery Night

You’re invited to the 5th Annual Family Discovery Night on Friday, October 21st, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.

Hosted by Beloit College and sponsored by Kerry, The Roy Chapman Andrews Society, and Bon Apétit

Bring family and friends for a night of science, discovery, fun, and food!

Admission is FREE. No preregistration is required. 

Explore science through hands-on activities at Beloit College's Center for the Sciences. Meet amazing scientists from Kerry, Beloit College, and the Roy Chapman Andrews Society.

Professor Sunil Malapati of Clarke University will present The Chemistry of Extremely Cold Foods. Come take part in hands-on fun with foods frozen at ultra low temperatures! Shows at 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45 pm.

Dr. Malapati has a master's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and a doctorate in biology from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. He is a chef trained in Southern Indian cuisine and teaches courses in food chemistry.
