She was a top student in two departments, History and Psychology. She completed an honors thesis in Psychology and presented her research at Student Symposium under challenging circumstances. Olivia studied abroad in Scotland and devoted one summer to guiding visitors at a ghost town in the Rockies. She was also a talented midfielder for the women’s lacrosse team and a campus tour coordinator for the Admissions Office. In short, Olivia did it all! Congratulations, and best wishes going forward!”

“Olivia has been a wonderful leader both on the athletic field and off. As a proud Buc, Olivia has been a varsity athlete for both soccer and lacrosse. An image of her fierce play graces the athletic hall of honor space. Off the field, she has honed her research skills in ways that provoke insightful and foundational questions. Her symposium on Lee Puey You’s immigration experiences to Angel Island (San Francisco) in 1939 prompts, sadly, too many disturbing questions that remain today.”

“Olivia is a rock star student, researcher, and athlete, and a tour guide extraordinaire! Her academic record is outstanding and she has complete two research projects in Psychology (you can learn more about the first from her poster which hangs proudly in the Science Center). The true definition of a student athlete, Olivia also shines equally in the classroom and on the lacrosse field. A poster-child for the Beloit experience, Olivia shared her experiences with prospective students, who no-doubt left their tour with positive memories of Beloit.”
