Class of 2022 graduates celebrate Commencement

After the upheavals of the past few years, Beloit College graduates have earned the right to list resilience as a skill on their resumes.

Developing and maintaining resilience was a key message delivered at the college’s 172nd Commencement ceremonies, held Sunday, May 15, on the Middle College lawn for over 200 graduates and approximately 1,000 friends and family.

Eva Laun-Smith lands prestigious Fulbright Student Award

Eva Laun-Smith’21 is one of two Beloit graduates to receive a Fulbright Student Award this year. A history major and decorated track and field and volleyball athlete, Eva graduated with highest honors from Beloit. 

Helen Griffin’21 heads to Taiwan through a Fulbright Student Award

Helen Griffin’21 completed her Beloit education on a high note with four majors and highest academic honors. She attracted a Fulbright Student Award which will take her to Taiwan to teach.

Britney Johnson recognized for academic achievements, dedication to community

This year has required flexibility, optimism, and good cheer from all our 2020 graduating seniors. But no Beloit student has exemplified the spirit of the Blue Skies Award more than Parker Blunt. Parker’s charm and energy have made life on campus better for all of us, and we’re proud to honor them with one of Beloit’s most prestigious and unusual awards.
