Caps & Gowns

Be sure to pre-order your cap and gown.

Students are encouraged to pre-order their caps and gowns by going to the Herff Jones site. Those who pre-order will receive a discounted price of $39.98 per set. The pre-order deadline for caps and gowns is March 12, 2020.

After that date, cap and gown sets will be available for purchase at the bookstore for $44.98 starting approximately one week before the Grad Fair and up until the day of Commencement.

Student can also contact Turtle Creek, The Beloit College Bookstore, in person or by phone to order caps and gowns for Commencement. Turtle Creek is located at 444 E. Grand Ave. in downtown Beloit. To reach Turtle Creek by phone, call 608-363-2375.

Hours of Operation are:

  • Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays.

Senior Grad Fair

Beloit College’s Grad Fair for the graduating class of 2020 is held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at Turtle Creek. Students can purchase or pick up their cap & gown at this time.

Announcements and Class Rings

Students and families may order international stoles, class rings, diploma covers, invitations, announcements, and thank you cards on the Herff Jones site at their leisure. Several options are available whether you wish to order your cap and gown, only, or select grad packs that include your graduation regalia and other items, like invitations, diploma frames, etc. Students may also make orders during the Grad Fair, and brochures showing all of the merchandise available for graduates is available at Turtle Creek.

Diploma Frames

Diploma frames are sold at Turtle Creek Bookstore all year round and can be ordered on their web site, as well. These custom frames are matted and feature the school name, along with the official seal embossed.

Honor Students

Honors cords will be given to honor students to be attached to their gowns for the ceremony. The college registrar will distribute while the class is lining up for the procession.
