Inaugural “Lunchbox Series” event presents investing advice from Warren Palmer (video)

October 24, 2013

Would you like a side of knowledge with your sandwich?

A new series, the Lunchbox Series, will debut next Tuesday (Oct. 29) with “Investing Calmly in Troubled Times," a lecture by Warren Palmer, economics professor and the Coleman Foundation Chair in Entrepreneurship.

The series gives professors a chance to share their knowledge not only with the campus community--who are all invited to bring a lunch and watch the lecture Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. in Moore Lounge next week--but the greater Beloit community and public, who can tune in live at and watch the lecture in real time.

Palmer will speak on the complications of investing in an uncertain market.

“Let’s think about how to invest calmly in troubled times even with the cacophony of financial news and financial pundits ringing in our ears,” he says.

So--see you there, or tune in and join us from the comfort of wherever you are in the world next Tuesday.
