Fall Conference exploring experimentation, time, technology

August 23, 2013

This year’s Fall Conference is taking place this morning, offering faculty and staff the chance to explore ongoing experiments by Beloit faculty that deepen the learning of their students and are important to the college as it explores new dimensions of liberal education in the 21st century.

The theme for Fall Conference, “Experimentation: Time, Technology, and Collaboration,” explores the past and present as we think about the future. These are the ideas faculty and staff will be examining today, building on a series of strategic conversations this spring with the board of trustees and representatives of the faculty  that addressed the questions of what is core to Beloit and where it might be reimagined.
