Get knowing: practicum slated for Wednesday

March 14, 2013

Advising Practicum, Spring 2013 edition: it’s for anyone who wants to see an airbag detonate (Mark Klassen’s doing it), need help explaining the liberal arts to their family or friends (who hasn’t been there?), or for anyone who needs to be smarter in managing his or her money, and more. So, so much more.

In the next few days, hard copies of Advising Practicum 2013’s schedule of events will be distributed via campus mail; in the meantime, you can peruse the schedule online by clicking this link.

“The Practicum exists to help students figure out how to put liberal arts learning into fulfilling practice,” says Charles Westerberg, associate dean of the college. “As Ben Franklin was fond of saying, ‘An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.’”
