What’s up at the C-Haus: Video game trivia and spring break kick-off

February 26, 2013

From C-Haus Manager Steve Olivieri:

Wednesday (Feb. 27)
Join us for a guest-hosted trivia by a couple of nerdy fellows who have crafted some special rounds of video-game and comic-book-themed trivia.

Thursday (Feb. 28)
“Sometimes people ask me why I loop everything live when I perform. Going to see a show should be about what happens that day, in that room, between that audience and that performer. It shouldn't be a carbon copy of the same performance from the night before.” -The Saturday Giant, who will be performing a full-band sound with only two hands at 10 p.m.

Friday (March 1)
Spring Break starts at 10 p.m. at C-Haus with The Noise FM. The Noise FM plays melodic, beat-driven indie-rock. Sometimes the tunes get really loud with big riffs and fuzzed-out synthesizers. Other times it gets quieter—all grooves and sexy vibes. Regardless of the volume, people tend to dance. Aktar Aktar is an all-original rock band with a sound like a tightrope act of modern American/British rock swinging over a safety net of the classics. These guys will be closing out the first half of the spring semester, and they deliver until the end.

Saturday (March 2)
CLOSED for spring break.
