Details set for Professor Dan Shea memorial

The details have been finalized for an on-campus memorial service in honor of anthropology professor Dan Shea, who passed away in June while conducting research in Chile. The reception will take place at the start of the fall semester, as students are returning to campus; the event is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, and the community.

Memories of Shea are being collected online here, and will be shared with his family. To make a gift to the Dan Shea Memorial Scholarship visit the college's online giving form, select "Financial Aid" as your designation, and include “Dan Shea” in the remembrance field.

What: Dan Shea Memorial Reception
When: Sunday, Aug. 26, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Moore Lounge, Pearson's Hall
Who: Open to students/faculty/staff, alumni, friends, and the community
