Baccalaureate: get a sneak peek at Saturday’s line-up

In an event celebrating the original works and individual and collective talents of Beloiters, friends, family members, and classmates of the Beloit College class of 2014 will gather Saturday at 4:45 p.m. in Eaton Chapel for Baccalaureate, one of the mainstays of Commencement weekend.

With an invocation (“Bringing Ideas Together”) by Biology Professor Marion Field Fass, a keynote address (“The Buck Stops Here: Looking Behind, Looking Ahead, and the Responsibility of the Present”) by Associate Anthropology Professor Lisa Anderson-Levy, and closing remarks from Courtney Yates’14, (“Workers”), the event will also feature performance art, music, dance, and original poetry, among other offerings.
