Prospective students on campus this weekend; dining changes accordingly

March 19, 2014

As Director of Admissions Jim Zielinski pointed out in a recent email, the next month-and-a-half is going to be a busy one for visitors, namely of the prospective-student variety, with an average of 15 families every day.

The second of three Admitted Student Open House events is scheduled for this upcoming Sunday and Monday, with more than 100 families expected on campus.

Due to the large numbers of visitors on Sunday, Board Manager Peter Kraemer would like students to know that retail options for dinner will NOT take place in D.K.’s Sunday night, but rather in Commons, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. as an all-you-can-eat meal.

“You will still be able to eat with flex dollars by paying the door rate of $7,” Kraemer explains, urging students to get in touch with food services staff if they have any questions.

Late night dining will begin at 8 p.m. in D.K.’s.
