Beloit Blocks will take place from May 21-June 11. Blocks courses allow students to earn one unit of credit in just three weeks. In 2014, seven different courses--satisfying an array of requirements--will be available to Beloit students, and financial assistance is available on a limited basis.

The Center for Language Studies will celebrate its 31st summer as part of the Beloit College community in 2014. CLS is an intensive, immersion-style program that brings students and faculty from across the country and around the world to our campus for eight weeks of rigorous study. The eight-week program is broken up into two four-week sessions. Upon completion of the program, students can earn up to 3 units of credit (1.5 units for completing a four-week session).
Courses are available in Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and ESL; each language has multiple levels, from beginner to advanced. The AREA Scholarship is available to all incoming and current Beloit students, as well as alumni of the college. To learn more about the program, please visit www.beloit.edu/cls.
