Second Annual Latin@ Educational Conference Friday

Intersted in Latina/o educational issues? The second annual Latin@ Educational Issues Conference will be taking place Friday (April 5) from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Hendricks Center for the Arts in downtown Beloit.

Aurora Chang, assistant professor of educational studies at the University of Wyoming, will present the conference’s keynote address at 6 p.m., titled “Undocumented to Hyperdocumented: A Journey of Personal, Professional, and Pedagogical Riesgos.”

The remainder of the event will feature concurrent presentations from Beloit sophomores and juniors about issues within the educational system. Refreshments will be served.
