How would you describe your art, and what are you showing in the Artletics show? I’m showing my photography. I love to capture anything that catches my eye—most of the time, I’m drawn to things that sometimes go unseen, or things that people don’t generally look at twice. My art is a good reflection of the way I think. I can sometimes get wrapped up in the little things in life.
What are a few of your favorite things? My iPod, my softball glove, my journal, my teddy bear, my brothers, my parents, my roommate, my best friend, my team, rain, laughing, and glitter.
What gets you up in the morning? Generally, some country music blasting from my alarm clock and my roommate yelling at me to get up and get to class in 10 minutes.
Who are your heroes? My brothers always have been and always will be my heroes. They have both inspired me to become the person I am today. With them, I feel safe, protected, and loved. Their greatness motivates me to find my own.
Which talent would you most like to have? I would love to be able to play the drums!
What’s the number one thing on your bucket list? Road trip around the country with my best friends.
If you were auditioning for American Idol, what song would you sing? “Drops of Jupiter” by Train.
What are you most looking forward to? Softball season with my girls!
