Name: Claire Aichholzer’15.

Hometown: Evanston, Ill.

Major/minor: Art history/history major and museum studies minor.

What brought me to Beloit: The absolutely wonderful people and museums.

My favorite class so far, and why you should take it: Islamic art, because it’s all so beautiful.

The best book I’ve read at Beloit: Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.

What are you working on? Currently I’m working on revamping and advertising the Hales Gallery. Basically, me and my co-director want to give it a new life.

What are a few of your favorite things? Pie, snow, Christmas lights, cats.

What’s on your desert island jukebox? Wilco Wilco Wilco, Andrew Bird, Neil Young, the Jayhawks.

What can’t you live without? Art. And my family and friends. And probably cats?

Any advice? Do good work.

What do you do in your free time? What do you wish you did in your free time? I watch Parks and Rec and go on bike rides. I wish I traveled the world.

What gets you up in the morning? "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers.
