What’s up at the C-Haus: Awareness-raising trivia, BC jazz

November 27, 2012

From C-Haus Manager Steve Olivieri.

Wednesday (Nov. 28) Trivia presented by Advocates 4 Choice
We’re on at 10 p.m. for another round of trivia, with a twist: Advocates 4 Choice will present a category of questions for World AIDS Day. Gather your teams. Sharpen your pencils. The game is on.

Thursday (Nov. 29) Beloit College Jazz Ensemble
Get jazzed about some big band, blues, and swing—come on out and support some campus cats as they swing on some standards, starting at 9 p.m.

Friday (Nov. 30) The Right Now
This soulful weekend kicks off with Chicago groove machine The Right Now. The band shines with raw, gritty performances and elegant arrangements that are the result of countless hours of performing, rehearsing, and traveling together. The Right Now's electrifying live show, matching suits, and choreographed horn section are a dynamic, complex, and hip approach to soul tunes.

Saturday (Dec. 1) Slow Jams
All slow jams, all night. Featuring D.J. sets and live performances from Stagger Lee, The Nocturnes, T.R.3, and La Triz.
