November 8, 2012

Friday at 8 p.m., Beloiters will have the chance to see a great concert and see some of their own strutting their stuff in Moore Lounge of Pearsons. ONE at Beloit, in collaboration with AFR Clothing from Florida, is hosting a Fashion Tour Concert aimed at raising awareness of the plight of education for children in Africa.

Artist Alexander Star (video) will perform at Friday night's show as Beloit College students put on a fashion show dressed in AFR Clothing apparel. Half way during the show, there will be a short video presentation about AFR Clothing to educate the audience on what they do and see the impact their work has on the children in Africa that are being helped through their endeavors--and how students are making a difference.
