Dozens of Beloiters headed south to the Windy City last Friday to get behind-the-scenes tours and network with Beloit College alumni as part of the annual Chicago Field Day, which gives current Beloiters the chance to network with alumni who were once in their shoes, as well as reflect on how they want to shape their own careers and goals.

Some 55 current Beloit students participated in this year’s Chicago Field Day.
Presenters at the afternoon panel included Agnotti Cowie’09, teaching artist at Changing Worlds, member of Theater of the Oppressed; Chris Seidel ’08, art teacher, Independence School; Fulani Thrasher'12, girls and women organizer, Access Living; Erika Weiss’09, development associate, Chicago Opera Company and business administration student at Roosevelt University; Leah Raffanti ’05, dancer, Space Movement Project and student at the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration.
