MEET: Megan O’Doherty, who has a BSFFA excursion on her bucket list

January 10, 2012

Name: Megan O’Doherty’11(December graduate!)
Major: International relations, Latin American and Caribbean studies minor.
Hometown/residence: Portland, Ore.
You may have seen me: Round Table, running around Hendricks Center with a bunch of kids, Spanish house, WBCR, or power-walking in between them.
What are a few of your favorite things? Really old letters, portraits of dictators, reality television (preferably of the polygamist variety), and missed connections.
What gets you up in the morning? / Favorite meal?/ What can’t you live without? Coffee.
What do you do in your free time? Feel like I'm forgetting something.
Who are your top-three fantasy dinner party guests? Evo Morales (Bolivian president), Joseph Smith, and Leslie Knope. I have a lot of questions for Morales and Smith. And I want Leslie to be my life-coach.
Which talent would you most like to have? The ability to communicate with animals; I feel like that could open a lot of doors for me.
What’s your favorite hidden gem here in the area? La Azteca (Mexican restaurant on Prairie Avenue behind the gas station). Its signs boast a wide selection of seafood specialties, but I would probably stay away from those if I were you. Still, they make bomb enchiladas.
What’s the number one thing on your bucket list? Join BSFFA on a super-secret LARP excursion.
