Kristin McKName: Kristin McGilligan’12
Hometown/residence: St. Louis, MissouriMo.
Major: Health and Society
You may have seen me: Laying on the Indian mounds (Yeah yeah... I know people think it's bad luck, but I've been okay so far.)
What are a few of your favorite things? Sunflowers, my grandmother's necklace, and a poem my father wrote for me when I was born
What’s on your desert island jukebox? “Sunshine” by Atmosphere, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Adele.
What do you do in your free time? When I'm not hanging out with my friends or sleeping, I am in Eaton Chapel a lot singing. It has wonderful acoustics in there, and it feels great to just sing on a stage with no audience and be as crazy as you want.
Who are your top-three fantasy dinner party guests? Morgan Freeman, Yadier Molina, and Charlie Day
Which talent would you most like to have? I'd love to be able to paint well. I'm not very artistic but every once in a while I get the urge to paint and I just don't know what I'm doing.
Beatles or Stones? Beatles
What’s your favorite hidden gem here in the area? Shortstacks. It's a little breakfast place that my friends and I often visit on Saturday mornings.
What’s the number one thing on your bucket list? Travel the world. I want to experience the daily lives of people from as many cultures as I can.
