Inside Buccaneer sports: Aug. 29-Sept. 4

August 29, 2011

helmetThe “B” logo continues to make its early journey into mainstream thinking as the face of Buccaneer Athletics.

First showing up at midcourt in Flood Arena prior to the start of last season’s Buccaneer Volleyball campaign, it was seen on plenty of t-shirts during the 2010-11 year.

Heading into the 2011-12 season, the “B” will be the centerpiece at mid-field of the new Karris Field at Strong Stadium. Plus, the Buccaneer Football team will wear it on its helmets, as well as various team apparel.

The “B” is featured on a variety of apparel being sold at the Turtle Creek Book Store. Grab your gear -- whether it be a cap, t-shirt or sweatshirt -- and show your support for the Bucs.
