The city will begin work this week to replace a water main and repave much of Bushnell Street along the college’s southern border. The construction will close most of Bushnell from Wisconsin Avenue to Pleasant Street for several weeks. However, LeeAnn Ryan in Physical Plant reports that a “lane will be open for travel at all times but there may be limitations as to the direction of travel.”
The Bushnell work is the first of two road construction projects (both of which were first announced in the Terrarium on March 23). The second phase will see the city replacing College Street from Bushnell south to East Grand Avenue.
