See the McNair Scholars at work (and help them too)

May 20, 2011

The McNair Scholars Program is inviting faculty and staff to join them this summer. The scholars will be hosting weekly Thursday check-ins (beginning Thursday, May 26th) between 1-5 p.m. in room 150 of the Center for the Sciences.

Each McNair Scholar will present an aspect of their research project each week, in preparation for the final McNair Symposium on Thursday, July 14th. Aurora Chang says the scholars will use the feedback gained from visitors’ questions and critiques to enhance their work.

“You can't imagine how beneficial your participation can be for the professional, personal and scholarly development of these students,” she says.

The weekly schedule is provided below. Drop in on a particular student or mix it up, if you’d like. Visitors can stay as long or little as schedules allow.
