This is a full-time position, with primary hours of Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (some holidays and occasional weekends required). The office manager/dispatch coordinator integrates the secretarial and reception duties of the security department, preparing and maintaining correspondence and records, and serving as a primary communications link between Beloit College and the public. As the dispatch coordinator, the position also functions as the primary contact with dispatch personnel and is responsible for the scheduling, training, and duty process functions of all dispatch operations.
Previous office experience, competence with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and e-mail software skills required. Two to five years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position required and must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing. The position includes excellent fringe benefits.
