Beloit College's women and gender studies program seeks a one-year sabbatical replacement. Teaching responsibilities involve four to five courses that would include feminist/gender studies classes at both the introductory and advanced undergraduate levels, along with other courses appropriate to the applicant's disciplinary/research background. Ph.D. in women’s studies or related field preferred; ABD considered.
The department is particularly interested in applicants who can contribute any of the following:
- Add to current curricular initiatives and majors in international development, health care studies, and/or ethnic studies
- Effectively teach and mentor diverse student populations
- Develop and support co-curricular projects and initiatives that bolster student and faculty interest in WGST
