Beloit College is looking for a creative digital designer, with a passion for making higher ed on the web a more bold and beautiful place. We use an open source, PHP-based content management system that allows amazing flexibility in design. Working with Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, you’ll help us take our design to the next level, while keeping existing site content current and helping the campus community use our CMS in the best ways possible.

Qualifications: At a minimum, an Associate’s degree plus experience or Bachelor’s degree in a directly related design field and demonstrated experience in design, development and maintenance of websites required. Proficiency with HTML, Javascript, PHP, mySQL and CSS; working knowledge of web development software (Adobe Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.) and graphics software (Adobe Photoshop, etc.) is essential. Familiarity with the complexity of large-scale websites and/or experience using an open source content management system highly desirable. Developmental experience related to mobile applications a plus.
