I’d like my children to have gotten to know their maternal grandmother; she died shortly before our eldest child was born.

I wish I had gills so I could swim underwater indefinitely. I’ve always had an irrational fear of drowning.

What’s your favorite hidden gem here in the area?
Turtle Creek – paddle it from Shopiere to the Rock River…it’s a great way to spend a few hours and see some of Beloit from a very different perspective.
What’s the number one thing on your bucket list?
Getting our kids through adolescence as well-adjusted, thoughtful, independent, generous citizens.
Proudest/ most memorable life changing moment?
Meeting and marrying the woman who has given me five healthy children.
What do you most look forward to? Getting together with family, especially around the holidays.
