Major Gifts Officer - The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of approximately 150 individual donor prospects who are considered to have the potential of making significant gifts ($50,000 and above) to Beloit College. The Major Gifts Officer reports directly to the Director of Major Gifts and Capital Support and works closely with staff and volunteers to identify donor prospects and works to fulfill their giving potential.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably from a liberal arts college. Familiarity with and passionate commitment to the distinctive mission and values of a residential, liberal arts College; familiarity with and passionate commitment to Beloit College especially valuable. Gift solicitation experience with nonprofit organizations or similar experience in sales and marketing required along with strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and follow-through. Travel, evening, and weekend work required.
