The Beloit College swimming and diving teams competed at the Grinnell College Pioneer Invite over the weekend, with the women finishing sixth and the men, eighth.
Kate Wolf posted a win in the 400 IM while Patrick Duvall won both the 100 fly and 200 fly to pace the Buccaneers.
Other top finishers for the women included Wolf, sixth in both the 200 IM and 200 breast; Nora Holte, seventh in the 100 breast; and Connie Meltzer, eighth in the 100 back.
The women's 400 medley relay of Meltzer, Beth Remington, Wolf, and Holte finished eighth, while the 800 free relay of Remington, Holte, Aria Walsh-Felz, and Meltzer was ninth.
Other top finishers for the men were Duvall, ninth in the 500 free and Greg Schalla, ninth in the 1650 free.
The men's 400 medley relay of Duvall, Schalla, Sam Maynard, and Arthur Staub was ninth while the 800 free relay of the same foursome was sixth.
The Buccaneers are now off until the new year, when they host Carroll University in Kresge Natatorium on Friday, Jan. 14. Action begins at 6 p.m.
