Voodoo graduates two

December 6, 2010

Amelia Buzzell'10 tests her lung capacity during "oxygen deprivation" as Sam Isenstein'11 looks on.

Voodoo Barbie packed Richardson Auditorium on Friday for its Land's End catalog-themed final show of 2010. The eight-person group bade farewell to honors term seniors Amelia Buzzell and Emily Edstrom, while lampooning everyone from Hermione Granger, Uncle Sam (who, according to an impression by Mark Coogan '12, hates soccer), to Ted Bundy.

The show also included impersonations of a narwhal and Tom Lancaster '11, a too-honest conversation between a father and his daughter's boyfriend, a live "slideshow" of Voodoo Barbie's trip to a country club, the Olsen twins' biggest fans, and the perennial crowd-pleaser of that game in which players have to stick their heads in a bucket of water. The group will perform again in January or February -- keep your eyes and ears open (and keep checking the Terrarium for updates)!
