Two Bucs on all-conference volleyball team

The Midwest Conference Tournament Champion and NCAA Division III Tournament participant Beloit College Volleyball team placed a pair of seniors on the 2010 All-Midwest Conference Volleyball team, released this afternoon by the Conference Office.

Setter Caitlin O’Leary earned First Team honors while outside hitter Mary Parker was a Second Team pick.

O’Leary finished her career with the second-most assists in Beloit history at 3,769.  She was third in the conference in assists this season with 995, while also accumulating 55 kills, 26 service aces, 293 digs and 39 blocks. She was All-MWC Second Team in both 2008 and 2009.

Parker, a First Team selection in both 2008 and 2009, was second in the league in digs with 639. She finished her career with 1,954 digs, the third-most all-time, and also had 980 career kills, just outside of the top five for Beloit in that category. This season she had 274 kills, second on the team, 31 service aces, and 28 blocks.
