TONIGHT: You're invited to a meeting of the Three Rivers Archaeological Society

Bill Green, director of the Logan Museum, invites you to attend the monthly Three Rivers Archaeological Society meeting taking place tonight at 7 p.m., at the Beloit Public Library.

The speaker, Dr. James L. Theler of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, will discuss "Habitats and Human Subsistence Along the Upper Mississippi River Valley, Wisconsin." This talk considers pre-European Native American peoples’ environmental setting and annual subsistence cycle. Important animal foods, harvest techniques, and seasonal rounds are discussed.

Free and open to the public; the library is located at 605 Eclipse Boulevard.
