You'll see them on the mounds, in your classes, circling "the wall" and reminiscing about the good'ole days: Over 400 alumni and friends of Beloit College will be returning to campus on Friday. In celebration of their return, why not welcome our alumni back in one simple, but important, way?
Tomorrow--Friday, Sept. 24--proudly wear your blue and gold.
Need inspiration? The Beloit College bookstore has got dozens of spiritwear styles in a variety of inspired hues, everything from accessories to sweatpants.
Since you'll already be dressed for the occasion, how about getting in on some of the many events occurring all day tomorrow? Starting at 4 p.m., choose from a poetry reading by Margaret Ronda'98 in the Poetry Garden, a panel presentation by the Miller Upton Interns in Richardson, or the many department receptions and open houses.
On Saturday, we hope you'll join us whenever you're able to reconnect with and meet our alumni. Some things to try and see:
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
48th Olde English Classic (which includes the 10 a.m. appearance by President Bierman's "Team Beloit," who will be taking on faculty and staff from Lawrence and Ripon)
